What we’re about
For Agile enthusiasts and professionals.
For the business and technical folks alike, experienced or not.
Join us for fun, interactive opportunities to network, learn, and support one another.
The scope of our group is vast, taking an holistic view of Business Agility, the latest trends in best practice / frameworks, and the many important functions "Agilists" (no matter the role or title) play in the exciting and accelerating adoption of Agile methodologies.
From both an operations and a technical perspective, at both small and large scales, let's share and discuss the challenges we all face together - and have a little fun while we're at it!
As we all know, it's about more than the theory.
What are the common pitfalls, and how can we help avoid them?
Where are the real career opportunities for Agilists?
What are the successful agile companies doing right?
What are the best practices and are there innovation opportunities?
We're a group looking to share and discuss creative ideas for events, activities to discuss at our meetings:
We want this group to be about:
• Regular networking opportunities
• Study sessions for those preparing for certifications
• Focused workshops on a wide range of agile topics
• Mentorship program
• Social opportunities
This is an interview prep group and that involves you being able to showcase your experience and practicing skills.
Please come ready with your questions, challenges, difficulties and we'll all dive in to help answer.
Come join us if you either are ready and willing to help others, or if you're still learning and transitioning into Agile.
This being said if you're an experienced Agilist, someone can learn 1 or 2 things from you.
If you're new to Agile, come join our safe environment where you'll have the opportunity to learn from others.
After all you'll be able to grow your network of fellow Agilists.
If you have an interview scheduled let us know, preferably ahead of a session so we can prepare and set time to mock interview you.
This group was formerly known as Functional Agilists of ATL
