The Super Awesome Halloween Party @ Aurum Nightclub! Sold out!!

The time has come to throw our 9th annual Super Awesome Halloween Party! This will be THE HALLOWEEN PARTY to go to if you want to hang out with all your meetup friends. We will be taking over Aurum (formerly Enso Event Centre) this year.

Doors open at 9pm. We will be having a few ice breaker games to kick off the night to help you meet people. There's no deciding which house party to go to this year - I'm making it easy by bringing everyone to the same party!! We often sell out and people are always scrambling for tickets last minute so buy yours before it's too late. Costumes are a must! Funny, sexy, classy, scary, fancy, anything you want! There will be name tags, free glow bracelets, ice breaker games and whatever else we can think of to make this an awesome night! All our special event stuff will be wrapped up by 10pm as it get's too busy after that. We will have a table to start the night off but it made be sold for bottle service later so please don't leave any personal belongings at it.

Aurum has a strict rule and we can NOT sell any tickets at the door. Our tickets are ONLY valid for entry before 10pm! From 10-10:30pm you may enter but you will have to pay the venue an additional $5. No entrance after 10:30pm, your ticket will be VOID.

Come join us for a night of drinking, dancing & socializing and let's spend some time with great new friends. We're a friendly and easy going bunch so don't worry if you can't or won't dance. Just show up and have a good time with us!

***Remember to bring two pieces of ID. Every place we go to has to check your ID no matter how old you are. Coat Check is $5 cash or card.

Frequently asked questions:

I can't make it there on time, can I come later? You MUST be inside Aurum by 10:30pm! Aurum will be busy by 10 but your ticket will get you in until 10:30pm. If you come after 10pm it will be super busy and you'll be stuck in line and have to pay $5 more so COME EARLY. ***There will be no refunds due to late arrivals and we can not help you get in either as it is out of our control.

It's my first time and I'm shy... Make sure you come early! The later it gets, the busier it gets which makes it harder to chat with people. REMEMBER - each time you go, you meet more people. There are tons of regulars that attend each week so the more you come, the more you meet and the more fun you have. We have some great events for getting to know people right before this one.

Is this a singles group? No - Anyone is welcome to join no matter what your relationship status. This is NOT a dating group. It is NOT for finding someone to hook up with. Anyone found using this group to just pick people up will be removed. If relationships form over time that is fine but it is never acceptable to try to take someone home from this group if you just met them, especially if they have been drinking.

How do I find you? Everyone who is with our group will be given a free glow bracelet so we can spot each other in a dark crowd.

Parking: There's street parking along the surrounding roads after a few blocks. Parking meters are FREE AFTER 10pm so this is the cheapest way to park. Read the parking signs well, sometimes there's special restrictions. They have lots which are closer but likely more expensive. I recommend leaving plenty of extra time to find parking and walking over or better yet, leave the car at home.

Coat Check is $5. Please bring change so the line moves quickly or pay with card. Be careful if you bring a coat and decide not to use the coat check. I have seen a few people over the years have their coat stolen. $5 for coat check is a lot cheaper than a new coat. People have even had their coats stolen when all our coats are in a pile together. Please only leave something unattended if you don't care if you lose it (like an old sweater). Girls - you'll have a lot more fun if you aren't carrying around a big purse. Try finding a tiny purse just for the bar that you can sling over your shoulder while you dance.
