The time has come to throw our 9th annual New Year's Eve Party. This will be the New Years Party to go to if you want to hang out with all your meetup friends or to make some new friends. We will be going to Aurum Event Centre which is new, epic nightclub! Aurum is set to close out the year with a massive double-headliner that will reshape New Year’s Eve in Vancouver. This is the night the Hard Dance community has been waiting for.

We will NOT sell any tickets at the door. Aurum's door tickets will be $100 but we got a special deal just for our group. Our tickets are valid for entry all night long. No in and outs are allowed this night. COME EARLY TO AVOID THE LINE. We can not help you skip the line as it is not in our control. Doors open at 9pm.

We will sell out as tickets are very limited and people are always scrambling for tickets last minute so buy yours before it's too late. We will have a table for the first hour but it will be sold for bottle service around 10pm so please don't leave any personal belongings at it.

Aurum has a strict rule and we can NOT sell any tickets at the door. They charge $100 at the door. Buy ahead to avoid disappointment.

I can't make it there on time, can I come later? You can come anytime but I strongly recommend arriving now later than 10pm as it will be very busy.

It's my first time and I'm shy... Make sure you come early! The later it gets, the busier it gets which makes it harder to chat with people. REMEMBER - each time you go, you meet more people. There are tons of regulars that attend each week so the more you come, the more you meet and the more fun you have. We have some great events for getting to know people right before this one.

Is this a singles group? No - Anyone is welcome to join no matter what your relationship status. This is NOT a dating group. It is NOT for finding someone to hook up with. Anyone found using this group to just pick people up will be removed. If relationships form over time that is fine but it is never acceptable to try to take someone home from this group if you just met them, especially if they have been drinking.

How do I find you? Everyone who is with our group will be given a free glow bracelet so we can spot each other in a dark crowd.

Parking: There's street parking along the surrounding roads after a few blocks. Parking meters are FREE AFTER 10pm so this is the cheapest way to park. Read the parking signs well, sometimes there's special restrictions. They have lots which are closer but likely more expensive. I recommend leaving plenty of extra time to find parking and walking over or better yet, leave the car at home. Transit is FREE on New Years Eve!

Coat Check is $5. Please bring change so the line moves quickly or pay with card. Be careful if you bring a coat and decide not to use the coat check. I have seen a few people over the years have their coat stolen. $5 for coat check is a lot cheaper than a new coat. People have even had their coats stolen when all our coats are in a pile together. Please only leave something unattended if you don't care if you lose it (like an old sweater). Girls - you'll have a lot more fun if you aren't carrying around a big purse. Try finding a tiny purse just for the bar that you can sling over your shoulder while you dance.
