Valentine's Traffic Light Party @ Cabana Lounge!! $4 drink specials!

Let's check out Cabana Lounge for a special event on Friday the 13th!! They are hosting a Traffic Light Party where everyone gets to choose a wristband when they enter. Green = Single and looking, Yellow = Maybe interested, Red = Taken. Come make some new friends or try to find your perfect match. Either way it will be a fun night out!

We will have FREE COVER & VIP line until 11:30 pm SHARP!. Always ask the staff which line up is for the Meetup group. Just say “I’m on the Fun Dance Party Guest list” at the door to get In free!!

Once inside, we will have a table reserved that we can use as a home base. Look for the "Fun Dance Party" logo to find the group. Cabana has 2 separate DJ's and dance floors. They have one in the main room and then there's a slightly hidden back room with another DJ which is often a great place to go to escape the crowd. The music will be Top 40 and hip hop main room and Latin in the back room. $4 drink specials. They have 4 different bars so you have some choices when it's time to grab a drink. No athletic or leisure wear please, dress to impress!

Come join us for a night of drinking, dancing & socializing and let's spend some time with great friends. We're a friendly and easy going bunch so don't worry if you can't or won't dance. Just show up and have a good time with us!

***Remember to bring two pieces of ID. Every place we go to has to check your ID no matter how old you are.

Will there be a host? Unfortunately I don't have enough hosts to cover every event but I want people to still be able to go out, get free cover and make new friends so I will continue posting events even if I can't find a host. Feel free to bring some glow bracelets to share to help people find each other in the crowd.

I can't make it there on time, can I come later? YES! You are welcome to come at anytime! Don't worry, we are happy to have you whenever you can get there. You will have to pay if you arrive after the cut off time though.

It's my first time and I'm shy... Make sure you come early! The later it gets, the busier it gets which makes it harder to find people. Ask people if they are from the Fun Dance Party group then start chatting. REMEMBER - each time you go, you meet more people. There are regulars that attend each week so the more you come, the more you meet and the more fun you have!

How do I find you? Look for the table with the "Fun Dance Party" logo.

Do I have to be part of the group? No, you can use the code to get in free for you and your friends and keep to yourself, that’s ok!

Is this a singles group? No - Anyone is welcome to join no matter what your relationship status. This is NOT a dating group. It is NOT for finding someone to hook up with. Anyone found using this group to just pick people up will be removed. If relationships form over time that is fine but it is never acceptable to try to take someone home from this group if you just met them, especially if they have been drinking. There will be zero tolerance and you will be removed from the group without warning if there is a complaint made about you.

Parking: There's street parking everywhere we go. Sometimes I have to walk a few blocks or circle around to find a spot. Parking meters are FREE AFTER 10pm so this is the cheapest way to park. Try not to park in lots, they over charge and can be hard to get in to late at night.

Coat Check: Please be careful if you bring a coat and decide not to use the coat check. I have seen quite a few people have their items stolen. $5 for coat check is a lot cheaper than a new item. People have even had their coats stolen when all our coats are in a pile together. Do not just leave your coat in our seating area or it may get tossed on the ground as the reserved area is for sitting in. Please only leave something unattended if you don't care if you lose it (like an old sweater). You'll have a lot more fun if you aren't carrying around a big purse. Try finding a tiny purse just for the bar that you can sling over your shoulder while you dance.
