The Million Dollar Club is “An elite group of entrepreneurs that have created, started or ran a company that has received venture funding at any stage of the company’s history.” I am a little slow in getting the group officially put together , but, in life they say health is wealth. In business what separates the men from the boys is closing venture capital. If are or were VC backed you know legal structure, series of financing, you are clean and have passed due diligence, common vs preferred, escrow, stock option plans, forecasting, board meetings, road shows, and the list goes on.. I am hoping to attract these elite few with the hopes of forming a board that works with the law firms, accountants, angels and VCs in Thailand. The board will host impactful meetups , start a breakfast club so Thai startups can pitch to us in 5 minute forums and provide a resource to governments , large corporations and venture capital. Let’s see who’s in Thailand. Out of 10 companies I have started, all of them have raised 3M or more USD. One 32M, one 67M, one 12M and one over 100M.
