About us
Fun Fiction Fridays is a relaxed book club for readers in their 30s to 60s who want to unwind on a Friday night, connect with new friends, and enjoy great stories together.
We value inclusivity and warmly welcome people of all races, genders, and sexual orientations. The age range simply reflects the life stage most aligned with my own and the kind of social energy this group is built around.
We read from current bestsellers, new thrillers and suspense novels, and anything else that sparks curiosity or conversation. Group size is intentionally small — usually 8 to 10 people — so everyone has space to connect and share.
In addition to book discussions, we’ll occasionally host larger social gatherings like happy hours, open to guests and friends.
About Me
I’m Jennifer — a cis, queer, white, neurodivergent woman in my early 40s. I started this group to build community with others in a similar phase of life who love meaningful conversation and a good read. I’m a big fan of stories in all forms — books, podcasts, and documentaries — but this space centers the joy of simply reading for pleasure.

If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or don’t show up, the deposit is forfeited to cover the late-cancellation fee charged by the venue.
