What we’re about
This is a book club for anyone, between the ages of 30-60, looking for a laid back Friday night with new friends. We aim for inclusivity and welcome diversity of race, gender, and all sexual orientations. I specified an age range that most closely matches my own and who I am likely to connect with in a similar phase of life.
This is a casual book club, we will pick something from bestsellers lists, the newest thrillers and suspense, and/ or anything interesting. We keep the book club events small 8-10 max.
In addition, there will be opportunities for other social events such as happy hours. These events will be larger with guests allowed.
About me: I am a cis, queer, white, neurodivergent woman, newly in my 40’s and I created this group to meet folks in my age range who want to connect and socialize. I love hearing all sorts of stories, podcasts, and documentaries, but definitely want to center this group around the joy of a pleasurable read.
How to find us: We'll have the month's book on our table.
Feel free to text, chat, or message on the meetup app if you need help!
