Lavender fields hike :)

Join Mike and Moni as we discover lavender fields in beautiful Surrey.

Meeting point: Victoria Train Station - outside Upper Crust, next to platform 13.

Time: 10:00 am

Traveling by train: We will get 10:30am train from Victoria Station to Banstead.

Itinerary: It’s simple. We’ll explore the beautiful area of Surrey, this walk passes through some Lavender Farms, which in July and August, are a stunning sea of purple. It also goes through parkland (Oakes Park) and commons (Banstead Downs). It makes a great summer walk.We will stop for lunch around lavender fields, so you will have time to explore this beautiful place. After lunch, we'll continue our hike through the valley. This is open for all levels. We will finish our walk back at Chipstead Valley station at approx. 3pm.

Lunch: Please bring your own packed lunch and water bottle (at least 1L)

Distance and toughness: 7.5 miles and 5 out of 10.

What to bring:

· Suitable walking shoes

· Walking trousers/leggings

· Waterproofs (just in case!)

· Sunhat

· Sunglasses

· Sunscreen

· Camera
