Funkadelic Studios has provided musicians an affordable home to rehearse, record, and reinvent their music for over 20 years. Two musician friends in Brooklyn started the studio as a way to connect with the NYC music scene and provide a place where musicians can do what they do best – make music. No matter how rich, poor, established, or underground an artist might be, Funkadelicprovides all the services musicians need under one roof. The six Rs are essential for any artist and Funkadelic has them all covered: rehearsal rooms, recording studio, repair shop, rentals, retail shop, and a rock & roll club.

International Women Artists’ Salon is thrilled to announce a continued partnership with NYC’s Funkadelic Studios in Hell’s Kitchen to showcase creative work by self-identifying women and non-binary artists from around the world. This expanding partnership will showcase works across all creative disciplines that include or are inspired by music.
Salon Lounge MUSIC at Funkadelic Studios August showcase will feature another stellar lineup, with our host extraordinaire Dale Novella.

Tickets available through Meetup, Eventbrite, and at-the-door, with suggested donation of $10, which will go 100% towards paying the presenting artists. Paying artists is a top goal of both IWAS and Funkadelic Studios to contribute towards the stable economic well-being of being an artist, the irreplaceable foundation of a robust society.
No one will be turned away.
