March “FREE-SAILING” (an introductory offer)

In support of the Free Sailing Community:

This weekend the Funky Flotilla is offering to make a few sailboats available for a Free Sailing Experience intended for potential participants who have an interest in sailing*

• *(not intended for passengers).

Full Disclosure:
There is no cost to attend this weekend provided you give back to the community by assisting with boat and facility repairs and maintenance.

Itinerary: Thursday night 8:00 Zoom meeting to go over some of the basics.

Saturday we start whenever you can get there! The focus is typically boat and facility work,
However, there could be sailing opportunities ?

Saturday at sunset, campfire and a Barbecue grill provided for a BYOF (food) event.

Sunday afternoon (1:00pm) We sail!! and ??

This is going to be a “spring cleaning” event. The facilities are a mess, boats need attention and the water is cold and, as always contaminated! This is said so you dress accordingly.
