## What We’re About
Welcome! This is a women-only group for women 40+, created to foster meaningful connections, shared experiences, and a genuine sense of community.
We gather to enjoy dining, brunches, happy hours, cultural outings, outdoor adventures, creative activities, and the simple joy of trying something new together. Whether it’s discovering a great restaurant, enjoying a walk or hike, attending a local event, or spending time in good conversation, our focus is connection over obligation.
This group is intentionally community-driven. While one monthly activity is hosted by the organizer, the heart of the group is participation. Members are encouraged to share ideas, help plan or host activities, and contribute—whether that’s time, creativity, or helping offset event and meetup costs when possible. When everyone participates in ways that work for them, the group thrives.
Our goal is to build authentic friendships, meet new people, and create lasting connections in a welcoming, supportive environment. This is a space to show up, get involved, and enjoy life together.

💖 Galentine’s Day Bunco & Potluck 💖

Dice, food, and laughter—the perfect combo! If you can throw dice and play musical chairs, you can play Bunco—no skill required. This is a lighthearted, fast-paced dice game all about luck, laughter, and meeting new friends. Whether you’re a seasoned roller or a total newbie, you’ll fit right in.

### ⚠️ Important Update: Prepayment Required
Due to many last minute cancellations and no-shows within 36 hours of our last event, prepayment is now required to secure your spot for Bunco.
This policy is about fairness and respect for the community. Supplies are purchased in advance, prizes are prepared, the venue is reserved, and many attendees commit time and money to bring food for everyone.
Last-minute cancellations create unnecessary cost and waste and impact not just the host, but fellow members as well.
We fully understand that unexpected work obligations or illness can happen. However, when you RSVP, you are making a commitment to the community that you plan to attend and participate.
To attend, prepayment is required, or an alternative arrangement must be made in advance. Payment or arrangements must be completed by January 31, 2026 to secure your spot.
Cancellation / Refund Policy: Cancellations received on or before January 31, 2026 are eligible for a refund. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable, if we cannot fill your spot as supplies and materials will have already been purchased.

- 4:00 PM – Arrive early to mingle, enjoy dinner & drinks
- 4:30 PM – Bunco fun begins!
📍 Location:
The Flight Deck – Community Space at Sports Basement (big green building), 3rd Floor, 2100 N Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90815
Accessibility Note:
If the public elevator is out of service and you require assistance or have mobility needs, please speak with a Sports Basement Rental Department employee (located near the elevator) and politely request assistance using the freight elevator to access the 3rd floor.

Please bring a savory dish to share (appetizers, entrées, salads) and beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
