In our endless pursuit of epic and awesome times we’ve going off the top rope, like a Mexican wrestler, and taking Cinco de Mayo to a whole new level! El Rancho, where we held our first event in 2012 for modern jive dancing, is setting us up with an amazing evening of live entertainment, dinner, and dancing! It’s going to be hot and spicy, with a little sexy thrown in there for good fun!

Here’s the details on what’s happening at the event itself:

Dinner Banquet Service

Basking in the soft, romantic candlelight a live Mariachi band will serenade us throughout the evening dinner service. Included with your reservation, you’ll get your choice of an appetizer and an entrée from the following menu:

Appetizer: choice of one: House salad or soup

Pechuga Valenciana- Oven baked boneless chicken breast topped with mushrooms, white wine & cream sauce.

Fajitas, De Carne o De Pollo- Grilled chicken or beef fajitas served hot, sizzling with sautéed onions & peppers; side of sour cream, pico de gallo, cheese & fluor, tortillas

Filete de Grouper Apanado- Breaded fillet of grouper with salad, fresh tomatoes and onions in a vinaigrette.

Dancing

After dinner, we’ll all head to the dance floor to learn how to Salsa dance and to meet some new and exciting dance partners. When you’re done with this class, you’ll be able to dance like this (well, almost)…
