When Furballs Strike (WFS) 46 - Kenmore Lanes Furbowl

Our 46th When Furballs Strike is set for Saturday, August 19! The theme will be "Furbowl Down Under" - celebrating the country/continent of Australia and its unique things like Kangaroos, Koalas, Didgeridoos and of course Bluey! Show your Aussie pride and enjoy many themed prizes in our raffle!

NEW FOR WFS 46: After 7+ years of no price increase to our Base reg, we have finally had to raise prices slightly due to inflation and keeping up with Kenmore's charges. The Base reg is now $12 but instead of increasing the others, we added an Ultrasponsor tier ($30) which includes a gift - A FurLife Logo Drawstring Backpack! Please consider Ultrasponsoring to support our event!

FURSUIT CHANGING/GROUP PHOTO

We have a dedicated room for fursuit changing/storage (behind the party room partition). Please be courteous to other attendees and only use this room if you need to, and try to space out usage so it doesn't overcrowd.

The fursuit group photo is taken at 2pm before bowling starts. When setting up for the photo please let shorter fursuiters be in the front, and spread out side-to-side as much as possible since the photo is taken as a panoramic.

PRICING/REGISTRATION

$12 Base Reg - Bowling, shoe rental, 1 raffle ticket

$15 Sponsor - Bowling, shoe rental, 5 raffle tickets, 1 FurLife decal

$20 SuperSponsor - Bowling, shoe rental, 15 raffle tickets, 1 FurLife Decal, extra Supersponsor (SS) raffle ticket to win special SS-Only prizes, 1 FurLife or WFS Magnet!

NEW $30 UltraSponsor - All Supersponsor swag + Extra Supersponsor drawing ticket + FurLife Logo Drawstring Backpack! Please consider UltraSponsor if you can afford it to support the event! Our costs have gone up significantly, as we basically rent out the entire alley now.

All bowlers get a Bluey sticker, and Ultrasponsors get 2!

Each registration comes with 2 games of bowling & shoe rental. To pre-reg, send your payment here via Paypal using the "Family & Friends" option: http://paypal.me/kijani

Include in the Notes section your FurLife username or what name you want on the bowling score screen. We will be assigning 5 bowlers per lane.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to bowl in a group, please make sure ALL members pre-reg (put in the notes section who you want to bowl with) or check in together in-person.

If you pre-reg, there will be a separate, much faster-moving line for where you check in, pick up your raffle tickets and lane assignment. You may buy extra tickets at that time as well. Pre-Reg closes at NOON on August 18 (day before WFS).

For on-site registration, Cash or card is accepted. For cards there is a .50 fee per reg through our secure payment processing system.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

11:30am - Party room opens
12:15 - Pre-Reg Check In opens
12:30 - At-event Registration opens
1:40 - Registration closes
2:00 - Fursuit Group Photo (usually in the middle of our assigned lanes, listen for announcement)
2:15 - Bowling starts
4:15 - Bowling ends, last call for ticket sales
4:30 - Awards & Prize Raffle
5:30 - Group Dinner!

PRIZE RAFFLE

There will be many amazing prizes for attendees to take home in our prize raffle which takes place after bowling ends (around 4:30).

Extra tickets may be purchased for $1 each (or $4 for 5) anytime prior to the raffle beginning.

DJ

DJ Vexit will be playing for us in his WFS debut! He's DJed at many East Coast cons and is thrilled to join us!

FOOD

Kenmore Lanes has a full restaurant and bar for us to order from at our leisure. Please do not bring in any outside food or drink as this is against Kenmore's house policies. Things like bottled water/sport drinks kept in the party room for our fursuiters is fine and encouraged.

WFS GROUP DINNER

We will be returning to Super China Buffet for our Group Dinner! Please note that the RSVP for the dinner portion is now a separate event page here: WFS 46 Group Dinner - Super China Buffet
