When Furballs Strike (WFS) 49 - Kenmore Lanes Furbowl

Our 49th When Furballs Strike is set for Saturday, June 1! The theme will be "Animals of the World" celebrating the amazing diversity of fauna around the globe. We will have many very unique animal-themed prizes from all 7 continents (including tons of plush) in our Prize Raffle, and all Ultrasponsors will receive a mini plush as a gift! Also since WFS falls on the first day of Pride Month, we will have pride-themed raffle items as well!

Group Dinner: We will be doing a catered Pizza + Barbecue Party for dinner, featuring Kenmore's tasty 1/4 lb all-beef hot dogs and 1/3 lb burgers. Supersponsor/Ultrasponsor Gifts: The Special gifts for WFS 49 will be a FurLife logo or WFS fridge magnet OR a Pride Flag (many styles to choose from) for Supersponsors, and Ultrasponsors get that, a holographic WFS decal plus a mini plush! They all either have fabric loops to hook onto a keyring, or have a keychain attached.

Both Pre-Reg and At-Event Ultrasponsors will pick their plush upon check-in. There are more than 15 different animals to choose from!

FURSUIT CHANGING/GROUP PHOTO

We have a dedicated room for fursuit changing/storage (behind the party room partition). Please be courteous to other attendees and only use this room if you need to, and try to space out usage so it doesn't overcrowd.

The fursuit group photo is taken at 2pm before bowling starts. When setting up for the photo please let shorter fursuiters be in the front, and spread out side-to-side as much as possible since the photo is taken as a panoramic.

REGISTRATION & COST

Include in the Notes/info section your FurLife username or what name you want on the bowling score screen. We will be assigning 5 bowlers per lane.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to bowl in a group, please make sure ALL members pre-reg (put in the notes section who you want to bowl with) or check in together in-person.

If you pre-reg, there will be a separate, much faster-moving line for where you check in, pick up your raffle tickets and lane assignment. Pre-Reg closes at 11:59pm on Thursday, May 30.

For on-site registration, Cash or card is accepted. For cards there is a .50 fee per reg through our secure payment processing system.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

2:00 - Fursuit Group Photo (usually in the middle of our assigned lanes, listen for announcement)
2:15 - Bowling starts
4:15 - Bowling ends
4:30 - Awards & Prize Raffle

PRIZE RAFFLE

There will be many amazing prizes for attendees to take home in our prize raffle which takes place in the Party Room after bowling.

Extra tickets may be purchased for $1 each (or $4 for 5) anytime prior to the raffle beginning.

DJ
We are thrilled to welcome DJ Brenda Banks to make their WFS debut, playing an eclectic set of Top 40 Remixes for your enjoyment!

FOOD

Kenmore Lanes has a full restaurant and bar for us to order from at our leisure. Please do not bring in any outside food or drink as this is against Kenmore's house policies. Things like bottled water/sport drinks kept in the party room for our fursuiters is fine and encouraged.
