When Furballs Strike (WFS) 50 - Kenmore Lanes Furbowl

Our milestone 50th When Furballs Strike is set for Saturday, August 17! We have reserved the ENTIRE 50-lane bowling center for our event. The theme will be "Golden Anniversary" as we celebrate 50 amazing furbowls for our FurLife community over the last 15+ years, along with our home center Kenmore 50 Lanes as they've hosted all but 2 of our events. We will have many incredible gifts in our prize raffle, and also be raising money for a local pet shelter/adoption center in our Charity Auction (details below).

FURSUIT CHANGING/GROUP PHOTO

We have a dedicated room for fursuit changing/storage (behind the party room partition). Please be courteous to other attendees and only use this room if you need to, and try to space out usage so it doesn't overcrowd.

The fursuit group photo is taken at 2pm before bowling starts. When setting up for the photo please let shorter fursuiters be in the front, and spread out side-to-side as much as possible since the photo is taken as a panoramic.

REGISTRATION & COST

Please note the following changes for WFS 50: Ultrasponsor level is now $40 and comes with a commemorative WFS 50 Pawprint Medallion and a FurLife Logo T-Shirt (with WFS logo on left sleeve). The high-level sponsor prize draw is now Ultrasponsor only. Supersponsor level still comes with 15 regular raffle tickets.

Include in the Notes/info section your Telegram handle (if you have one, for confirmation), what name you want on the bowling score screen, and T-shirt size if Ultrasponsoring. We will be assigning up to 6 bowlers per lane to ensure the most bowlers possible can participate.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to bowl in a group, please make sure ALL members pre-reg (put in the notes section who you want to bowl with) or check in together in-person.

If you pre-reg, there will be a separate, much faster-moving line for where you check in, pick up your raffle tickets and lane assignment. Pre-Reg closes at 11:59pm on Wednesday, August 14.

There is a high possibility that we may sell out of lane spots for at-event registrants, so pre-registering is highly recommended!

2:00 - Fursuit Group Photo (usually in the middle of our assigned lanes, listen for announcement)
2:15 - Bowling starts

5pm - Awards, Charity Auction, Prize Raffle

CHARITY AUCTION

We will hold a Charity Auction to benefit local pet shelter Homeward Pet Adoption Center! We have 5 amazing gifts to bid on including a red husky fursuit head, Oculus Quest 2 VR set and more. The auction will begin silent (written bids) during bowling, and end with a live auction at 5pm starting with the highest silent bid. Let's raise lots of money for Homeward Pet!

PRIZE RAFFLE

There will be many amazing prizes for attendees to take home in our prize raffle which takes place in the Party Room after bowling.

Extra tickets may be purchased for $1 each (or $4 for 5) anytime prior to the raffle beginning.

DJ

We are thrilled to announce two awesome DJs will be spinning at WFS 50: TekFox and Avian Invasion (Matthew Ebel)!

FOOD

Kenmore Lanes has a full restaurant and bar for us to order from at our leisure. Please do not bring in any outside food or drink as this is against Kenmore's house policies. Things like bottled water/sport drinks kept in the party room for our fursuiters is fine and encouraged.
