Ride Along the I-90 Light Rail Extension! (South Seattle)

Hello furry fans of public transit! Today is the day where the Sound Transit 2 Line light rail extension is opening across the I-90 Bridge!

UPDATE (again): The location and time for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and opening day celebration has changed to Sam Smith Park at 9am, near the Judkins Park Station! The start time for the meet is listed at 9am, but if you want to be there for the ribbon cutting before festivities get underway, be there by 8:45! Trains are scheduled to be opened for service by 10am.

Once opened, we will start heading eastbound and getting on and off at each station to see what they got to offer, but when we reach Redmond Downtown at the 2 Line terminus, then we will then get on the next train westbound to Lynnwood then back to Judkins Park Station!

Please note: parking is difficult near Sam Smith Park (street parking only), so allow time to find a parking spot, and you'll have to change into suit at your car.
