South Lake Union Streetcar Fur-Ride

Let's ride the SLU Streetcar in fursuit!

We’ll begin at 12:00pm (Hyper will be at this site for early arrivals 30 minutes prior to the meet beginning 11:30am). Please look for a group of us outside The Center for Wooden Boats. Between 12:00pm and 12:20pm we will be taking some photos around Lake Union Park.

Afterwards, we will head to the South Lake Union Streetcar stop where we will prepare to board the first southbound train departing after 12:30pm. We will ride the streetcar until we arrive at the final stop, “Westlake and Olive”. The group will then walk over to “Westlake Park”. We will take some photos at “Westlake Park” and inside of the upper platform in “Westlake Station”. After taking these photos we will walk back to the “Westlake and Olive” streetcar stop and take the streetcar back to “South Lake Union Park”.

(We suspect this event will last ~2 hours, but the length of the event depends on how fast we get through photos downtown and based on the streetcar schedule.)

**If you arrive later than 12:30pm you will miss the furmeet as we will be riding the first streetcar to depart after 12:30pm. The meet and photos begin at 12:00pm.**

South Lake Union Park is accessible by public transit by taking the 40 Bus, 70 Bus, C Line Rapid Ride Bus, or the SLU Streetcar. Those parking can park in Lake Union Peers Parking (809 Fairview Pl N Suite 160) or in the SDOT lot itself at 1010 Valley Street.
