Día de Los Muertos, con Furros! (Seattle)

Let's meetup and celebrate Día de Los Muertos! Meetup time will be Sunday, November 1st at 11am to 5pm at the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall.

This is next to the Space Needle and easily accessible by the Seattle Monorail, which is easily accessed by the Westlake Light Rail Station.

Please note: FULL FURSUITING IS ALLOWED AND VERY MUCH ENCOURAGED! ❤️💀❤️

The festival is part of the Seattle Center Festál series. It is free and open to the public. Full fursuiting is allowed and very much encouraged! As well as Día de Los Muertos costumes. (you do not need to wear a costume to attend the meetup)

There will be free Día de Muertos face painting! Also free Calaveritas de Azúcar decorating (sugar skulls), free Tapete (sand painting) workshop, and other free workshops and events. Plus live music throughout the festival, culminating in a Día de Los Muertos procession.

Parking:
There are nearby pay parking lots and garages.
As always, UW’s Central Parking Garage is free on weekends and you can take the light rail from the University station to Westlake and then the Monorail to the Seattle Center.

Where we will meet:
Right at the Monorail entrance to the Armory Food & Event Hall. This is on the second floor of the Hall.

Lastly:
We will do two group photos. One, half-way through the meetup, and one near the end.
