What we’re about
Let's round up our pups, old and young, BIG and small for some doggie fun. Our little guys and gals have big hearts and big needs! This group is for socialization, exercise, and new experiences! And while we are at it, let's meet new friends too!
I will be bringing my dachshund, Hazey, who is 11 years old. She loves walks, treats, sloppy kisses, barking hello, ball, ball, ball, ball, and ball!

WHO: This group is made up of all kinds of folks and dogs. We are not a reactive dog group or a training group. Adults only, please. The best way to meet new friends is to attend regularly!
WHAT: We do all kinds of events! Beach outings, yappy hours, walks, yoga, parades, scavenger hunts and more!
WHERE: Most events are in Long Beach, but occasionally in surrounding areas.
WHEN: Events are for the most every 2 weeks or monthly and have between 5-15 attendees!

Right before and during the event: Call me (not text) at 562-505-7754 and don't use the chat function inside meetup as that is hard to check and keep track of right before and once the event is underway! ☺️

Evening stroll🚶🚶♀️in the Naples Canals ⚓️🌊 to see the holiday 🎅🎄 lights!
Long Beach Yacht Club, 6201 Appian Way, Long Beach, CA, USLet's take in the views of the water and the beautifully decoratedhouses as we stroll along the canals in Long Beach's Naples Island.

We will meet at Lido Lane and Appain way at the park benches to start our walk to see all of the beautiful holiday lights We will walk for approximately one hour.

There are lots of stairs on this walk. Dress warm. There are not any bathrooms along the route.
Where we will meet: We will meet at Lido and Appain Way at the park benches. You can park off of Appian. Do NOT park inside the Yacht Club.7 attendees
Dog Ugly Sweater🎄Walk and Gift 🎁 Exchange!
Scherer Park, Del Amo & 49th St., Long Beach, CA, USDress your pup in their ugliest sweater and grab a cute gift from your local pet store. Let's meet up at Scherer Park. We will start with a gift swap. Please do not spend any more than $10 and get a gift that would be good for a dog of any size. Then we will take a little stroll around the park to explore a little bit in our ugly sweaters. Humans are welcome to wear ugly sweaters as well!
We will meet between the duck pond and the tennis courts.
There is a parking lot off of Atlantic near 46th St.

Dog Walk 🐾 Neighborhood Sniffari: Exploring Bixby Knolls! 🏡
Bixby Knolls Park, 1101 E. San Antonio Drive, Long Beach, CA, USJoin us for a Neighborhood Sniffari as we explore a new neighborhood with our pups!
We’ll take a leisurely one-hour stroll through the neighborhood, admiring beautiful homes and letting our dogs get in new sniffs. Experts tell us just 20 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to an hour’s walk in terms of enrichment for your dog! We will make frequent stops to let our dogs do what they do best and the rest of the group catch up. If the pups want to sniff, the pups will sniff!
This is a great way to get some fresh air, meet fellow dog lovers, and let our pups enjoy new sights and smells. All friendly dogs are welcome! 🐶
Meeting Spot: The corner of Myrtle and Claiborne (the map location is nearby but NOT where we are meeting.) See picture below for exact spot.
