Gloggnitz to Breitenstein – 15km of Scenic Trails & Great Views
Let’s head out on a scenic ~15 km hike from Gloggnitz to Breitenstein, with a total of 723 meters elevation gain and 369 meters descent. The ascent is gradual and spread across the trail, making it a steady but enjoyable hike.
Depending on the group’s fitness level and how long we linger at break spots, we may slightly adjust the route if needed - there are a couple of train stations along the way that offer earlier exit points just in case.

Meet Up Point
Meet us at Wien Hauptbahnhof at 9:40 to catch the CJX9 at 09:56. We will greet you in the main ticket hall, in front of the ÖBB offices. Please join our WhatsApp group below, I will share my live location on the day of the hike!

Return: From Breitenstein at 17:16, arriving back in Wien Hbf at 18:32

With over 6 hours for the hike, we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the trail at a relaxed pace. Looking forward to sharing the trail with you!

1. If the hike does not take place, we will announce 24h in advance at the latest. FUSE will reimburse you 100% of the payment within 2-5 workdays or gift you a voucher – according to your wishes.

2. No-show: a refund does not apply, except with proof of objective reason such as a physician's note etc.
