What we’re about

If you’ve ever felt uncomfortable, out of place, or quietly conflicted in spiritually framed fitness environments, this club was made for you.

Fusion Flexibility blends secular flexibility and fitness training from olympic gymnastics, circus contortion, and yoga into a science-informed physical practice without spiritual or religious overtones. It was created to be an inclusive activity for people of all ages, body types or spiritual worldviews.

Q: Is Fusion Flexibility a form of yoga?

A: No, but it's "yoga-adjacent." Fusion Flexibility is explicitly secular. It is based on rigorous gymnastics and circus contortionist training, removing the spiritual, religious, and ritualized elements commonly associated with yoga. Although some physical techniques overlap, all material is taught through a secular, biomechanics-based framework. No spiritual, religious, or ritual elements are included.

Being secular isn’t about rejecting anyone else’s beliefs. It’s about creating a neutral space where no beliefs are required at all. You won’t be asked to chant, meditate, adopt unfamiliar language, or engage in spiritual practices. Just pure flexibility, strength and physical fitness training.

Classes:
Classes are over the lunch hour on Mondays and Fridays. Our experience is that once/week stretch and flexibility training is just not enough; by the time each week rolls around the gains from the last session have been erased. Our goal is to practice twice per week in order to preserve and extend our progress. Our starting schedule is set for Mondays and Fridays at noon at the Passion & Performance dance studio between Mayfair and Uptown malls. The club rents the dance studio and provides the class leader/teacher. Please bring your own yoga mat.

Memberships:
First trial session is always FREE!
Membership rates are $25/session (choose Monday or Friday) or $40/both sessions per week, paid monthly in advance.

Membership Fee Formula:
Each week day has either 4 or 5 occurrences each month, with an average of 8 months/year having 4 occurrences and 4 months/year having 5. Thus, monthly membership is calculated based on an average of 4.33 sessions per month, times the standard rate of $25/session = $108.25/month for one day per week (either Mondays or Fridays) or $40/week (both Mondays and Fridays) = $173.20/month for both days per week. This gives us a standardized, harmonized monthly recurring rate, even though some months have 4 sessions and some have 5. Did we mention that the first session is free? :)
