[SOLD OUT] Ballet & Ball Gowns Dance Photography Workshop, Central London

On Saturday 5th September we will be returning to London for a dance photography workshop. Shooting with Tori Bew, our experienced model and professional dancer around some of London's best known locations. London can look amazing in the Autumn.

Our iconic shooting locations may include some of the following: Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery, The Mall, White Hall, Hyde Park, Horse Guards Parade, and the local areas.

We never run workshops, themes or locations that we have not invested time into fully shooting and testing the idea first, thus I spent several shoots checking and using the locations, thus all locations have been pre-scouted for their suitability and iconic backdrops.

There is a maximum number of 6 participants so everyone will get plenty of opportunity to shoot. Our workshops are also fun and relaxed. We don't rush around and you will have plenty of time to get amazing shots.

Workshop Approach - A learning Experience

At each location Tori and I will walk you through the dance moves, explaining how to capture the best shots, suggest how to frame the location, set the best exposure for freezing movement (or creating movement), and explain the optimum hand, arm and leg positions, etc. Our workshops are for all abilities and photo tuition is available throughout.

Workshop cost is only £47 for 2.5 hours. Starting at 1.45pm meeting close to Charing Cross Station and ending at 4.15pm.

Your lead for this workshop is Steven Gosling, an award winning, published photographer with over 20 years photography experience. Steven has lead over 200 workshops in diverse locations such as Venice, Prague, Krakow, Spain, Portugal, France, and across the UK.

The model and dancer for this event is Tori Bew, who will dance in and model different flowing outfits, including creative ball gowns and costumes. Tori trained in London and at the acclaimed Sarasota Ballet in the USA and previously lived in Paris, dancing at La Nouvelle Eve and then at the famous Lido de Paris.

Over the last decade, we have invested in an eclectic wardrobe of ballgowns, creative accessories and on-location research to bring you the best workshops.

Refund Policy

Weather: The event is expected to continue in most weathers. Location and activities may need to be changed. If the event is cancelled by the organiser you be offered either to transfer to a different event or date or receive a full refund. If you need to cancel your attendance, cancellations made 30 days or more prior to an event the participant will receive 100% refund. Cancelled between 30 and 14 days before the event will receive a credit refund to be applied to a future event. Cancelled after 14 days you will receive a 90% credit refund only if we can resell your place. Tickets are transferable and this can be arranged privately at no cost – contact us.
