Welcome to Fusion Badminton!
Information
We charge only £8 for 3 hours in our brand new sports hall with 4 courts and play with high visibility, quality, Yonex Mavis 300 plastic shuttlecocks.
1 court will be dedicated to 'King/Queen of the Hill' with winners staying on. Maximum of 3 wins to "abdicate" undefeated!
We have a certified Badminton England coach as well as league players at all the sessions giving tips and advice to all players that want it.
Time: Sunday 13.30-16.30 [Please arrive 20 minutes early to change and warm up]
Please pay session fees to Steve / Mike / Juno / Terry during the session, preferably near the start.
Travel
The Globe Academy is a 5 minute walk from Elephant and Castle tube station along New Kent Road [Harper Road is opposite Kwik Fit]. The entrance of the road has a Tesco Express and several Barclay's Bikes. A map of the journey is in the link below.
Walk into and through the school to the open playground. The sports hall is on the left.
Free parking off road on Sundays (single yellow or Residents permit) outside the venue.
There is a bus stop outside the venue - Buses 168, 172, 363, 453, 53 & 63 stop here.

Coaching
Coach Wong is a certified Badminton England coach - coaching can be arranged and is tailored to all standards and areas of focus can be requested.

Equipment
Please bring wear the appropriate sportswear, shoes and racket. A few spare rackets are available if required. Water fountain available - so bring a bottle!
We can help with restringing - please ask an organiser for more details.
Attendance, Late Drop-Outs and No-Shows
Please do not attend unless you have RSVP to reserve a space. If circumstances change, please ensure you update by at least Saturday 8pm so others can fill the space.
First No-Show - Warning
Second No-Show - £4 penalty
Third No-Show - £8 penalty
Fourth No-Show - Ban
This is to ensure courtesy to those waiting who can attend and want to play!
Insurance
Any injury or loss incurred will be the individual's responsibilities. The club will hold no responsibility or liability for any loss or injury. Because of this we encourage you to warm up appropriately, wear appropriate clothing, and STRETCH!
Social
If anyone is interested, we will usually pop down to the Elephant and Castle roundabout for a drink or food after a long session. We also have 15% discount at a Chinese restaurant up the road if people prefer that!
