What we’re about
The Future Folklore Project is a living archive of the stories we choose to carry forward. Through intimate gatherings, communal prompts, creative rituals, and collaborative portraiture, the project invites people to reflect on the narratives that have shaped them—those they’ve inherited, resisted, rewritten, or are still learning to understand. Each gathering centers around a theme (like rest, belonging, or urgency) and offers a space to share stories aloud, swap books, and co-create new language for the futures we want to build.

🌿 THEME: COLLABORATION This month, we're exploring what it really means to create and grow together, from building trust and navigating tension to balancing shared vision and individual voice. In our conversations and reflections, we’ll look at the stories we've inherited about collaboration: what it asks of us, where it challenges us, and how it can expand what's possible. We’re also introducing a live collaborative music jam into the evening. Whether you’re a musician, a storyteller, or just curious to be part of something communal, you’ll have space to witness and co-create in real time!
