AI is no longer just hype - it’s real technology with plenty of caveats, issues, and limitations. To use it wisely, you need to learn, stay curious, and keep up with technological developments. On October 16th, the Future Meetup (partnering with meet.js KRK) with Sprout Social will bring you knowledge, fun, and the opportunity to connect with other programmers and tech enthusiasts.

We’ll have presentations on
- 🧑‍🏫 AI explainability,
- 👩‍🏫 prototyping with Figma MCP,
- 🧑‍🏫 especially for programmers who still like to code themselves, and our meet.js friends, a session on reactivity and Signals.

We’ll also raffle tickets for Future Conf 2025 (27–28.10): two days packed with insights on how programmers can use AI and how to build AI-based products. It’s an event you definitely don’t want to miss.

Agenda:

👨‍🏫 Bartosz Mikołajczyk (Senior Software Engineer at Sprout Social) – RxJS Walked So Signals Can Run
Angular has always been defined by its approach to reactivity. RxJS gave us the tools to model streams of data, and now Signals arrive with a fresh perspective. But what does this shift really mean for developers, and how do these two models fit together in the bigger picture of Angular's future?
This talk takes a step back to explore the evolution of reactivity in Angular - where we've been, where we're headed, and what choices developers might face along the way.

👨‍🏫 Andrzej Bedychaj (Data Scientist at N-iX) – Why did my model do that? From misery to mastery with XAI
As artificial intelligence drives critical decisions in healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems, its "black box" nature raises urgent questions about trust, fairness, and accountability. Explainable AI (XAI) is no longer optional—it’s a cornerstone of ethical, reliable AI. Let’s dive into the tools and techniques that transform opaque models into transparent systems. Discover how XAI detects biases, enhances model performance, and meets regulatory demands while empowering users to trust and act on AI insights.

👩‍🏫 Kseniia Leonova (Product Designer at Sprout Social) – From Design to Code Faster: Prototyping with Figma MCP
Turning designs into production-ready code can be slow and error-prone, especially when developers lack the full context behind design decisions. The Figma MCP (Model Context Protocol) server changes that by giving AI agents direct access to Figma designs and Make files - ensuring prototypes and implementations stay accurate and aligned. In this session, we'll explore: What the Figma MCP server is and how it fits into modern design-to-code workflows. How to set up and start using MCP with your design files. Best practices for preparing Figma designs to make them MCP-ready.

Sprout Social is a leading social media management platform helping thousands of brands and organizations connect more meaningfully with their audiences.
