A Future of the Book event with Inkling

Leaders from Inkling's Content and Design teams will share their approach to building beautiful interactive books unbound by the constraints of the printed page, discussing the benefits (and challenges) of building structured content using open Web standards, scalable responsive design, and meaningful interactivity.

Inkling, founded in 2009, initially focused on publishing interactive textbooks for iPads. The company has since broadened its scope to include other kinds of learning content (cookbooks, travel guides, how-to books, medical references, etc.) and other readers (Web, iPhone, Android, ePub). Inkling's Habitat authoring environment is becoming the industry standard for producing beautiful, structured content at scale.
