#pubnpub San Francisco: The futur of children's book publishing

Details
These days I am organizing a meet-up called Pub ’n’ Pub for people from all over the publishing industry in San Francisco. Our goal is to learn, to network and to have fun.
Melissa Manlove, Editor at Chronicle Books, will present the keynote speech: “An Editor Walks into a Bar: Understanding the building blocks of humor, and why we should take humor seriously”. Melissa Manlove has been with Chronicle for 10 years and 16 years of children’s bookselling experience. I think she is the perfect person to discuss with the futur of children's book publishing.
Pub 'n' Pub (#pubnpub) is a series of publishing pub meet-ups in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and the Netherlands and was started by Leander Wattig in 2011. This would be the first event to take place in San Francisco.
We need your support: We developed the idea for the first #pubnpub in San Francisco last-minute. That's why we still looking for a location. It would be awesome if you could help us. Maybe your company would be interested in hosting this event? Please contact me mail(at)charlotte-reimann.de
