About The Speaker :
Krishna Birla is a Senior Software Engineer at Cloudera, working on Resource Management and Multitenancy in Kubernetes for the Compute Platform team.
He completed his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology in 2020, and has 3 years of industry experience thereafter.
He has been contributing to open source from his early college days of Google Summer of Code to his most recent contributions in Apache YuniKorn.
Within his 3 years of industry experience at Cloudera, he has worked on multiple features in the domain of Cloud Computing, Kubernetes and Resource Management for Cloudera Data Platform, the enterprise Edge2AI data platform from Cloudera.
Even though he has been contributing to Apache YuniKorn open source for only a couple of months, he has had a deep and telling hands-on experience with Apache Yunikorn while integrating it to the Resource Management module in Cloudera Data Platform.
Apart from Cloud Computing and Kubernetes, Krishna has also worked in embedded systems and control systems, and is interested in system designing low tolerance high availability software
