## Details
Hello DevOps Budapest!
Please join us at our next event organised by Cloudera, IseeQ and Ypsilon Systems, where we will share with you Modern ways to approach two old DevOps topics to improve Developer Experience in your infra platform. Here is Posted by Meetup Organizers https://www.meetup.com/devopsbp/events/307463580/
Zoli is a true technology enthusiast! We worked together for close to 2 years with Cloudera and he always surprised me with many not so widely known features of regular DevOps tools like aws-cli, terraform, and many others. Now I can’t wait to hear his presentation about a tool I never even heard of before.
Zsolt used to be “just a regular sysadmin guy” in the past, but since I met him in DockerCon about 9 years ago he seems to be riding new waves of modern infra tooling. His latest “run” seems to be a BIG one!
Two old friends of mine and tons of networking opportunities. Don't miss out on this one!

🎤 Exclusive Talks by Industry Experts:
1, Renovate - say no to perpetually outdated dependencies
Speaker: Reegn Zoltán – Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Cloudera
Abstract: Updating software dependencies became a massive chore as the industry is growing: there's a continuous stream of feature releases, and there's more of those pesky security researchers publishing CVE-s than ever before. Most OSS projects don't have separate security patch releases. Everyone breaks API-s left and right.
Renovate helps dealing with one side of the equation, the fast release cadence of dependencies: it is capable of opening pull requests for dependency updates in ways that dependabot can only dream of. We'll be looking into using renovate for the trivial and less so trivial cases of dependency patching.

2) Secrets? Where we’re going, we don’t need secrets.
Speaker: Varga Zsolt – CTO, Riptides
Abstract: Dealing with non-human identities like service accounts, JWTs, access keys and tokens is one of those things nobody really wants to think about... until everything breaks. Managing certs, rotating secrets, keeping stuff secure without slowing things down can get messy. In this talk, we’ll dig into why this is such a pain, what people are doing today, and where we think things could go. We’ve been exploring some new ideas in this space and would love to share what we’ve been working on and get your take too.
