Stream processing for the masses with Flink and SQL Stream Builder

Details

Stream Processing is a critical function of any streaming architecture to handle massive volumes of high velocity data streams in real-time. Creating jobs to achieve this, however, has typically required fluency in a programming language and a Stream Processing framework (Flink, Spark Streaming, Kafka Streams, etc.)

In this session we'll look into Stream Processing using Apache Flink and how we can make it more accessible by giving users and analysts a pure SQL interface to explore data and schedule jobs in production.

Join Andre Araujo and Sourabh Ghose, both of Cloudera, for what promises to be a stimulating technical discussion accompanied by live demonstrations of the current state of the art technology.

This is still a tricky time for public gatherings, but Future of Data is committed to providing great technical presentations & facilitating discussions in the data streaming and machine learning space. Our groups in Sydney and Melbourne are jointly holding this event. In order to do our part to fight the spread of COVID-19's delta variant, this will be an exclusively online event with an originating Time Zone of Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT+10).
