Gopal Vijayaraghavan is focused on performance of the Hortonworks platform, primarily within the EDW/SQL ecosystem. He has been working on performance and scale problems for the last decade & more at Yahoo, Zynga, and Hortonworks. He is an active PMC member of Apache Tez, Apache Hive, and Apache ORC communities. He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum in India.
