Using Apache NiFi and Kafka to Stream and Collect Data in the Cloud
Details
In this meetup, we’re going to show how to use Apache NiFi to create a flow that allows you to collect data from multiple sources, filter and enrich it, then store it into two different database solutions (Hive and HBase). We’ll also be using NiFi to create our data source in which we’ll take a source file and split it into five different Kafka streams.
You’ll see how easy it is to create a data collection system that is easy to prototype, scalable, and versatile all while working within the Cloudera Data Platform.
Come join us to see the process we’ve created and hopefully it will inspire some new ways of thinking!
