Canvass for voter equality *THIS* Saturday!!!!

Details

There are times when each of us can make a difference in a very concrete way.

This is one of those times: the Ottawa-Vanier by-election.

We must show Justin Trudeau that there is a price to pay for his government's betrayal on electoral reform.

We are mobilizing our forces to come together for a major activity at
Date: Saturday, March 25.
Time: 9 am onwards
Location: #411-589 Rideau St (dial 17)
Registration: https://is.gd/KqFjA0
We have ordered 15,000 Fair Vote Canada flyers to be distributed to targeted neighbourhoods in Ottawa-Vanier. Our efforts could well swing the result of this by-election. A Liberal defeat at this juncture in an otherwise safe riding would be noticed and reported on across the country.

The flyer will contain two detachable postcards, one in English and one in French. However, to distribute 15,000 flyers in one day will require a small army of volunteers, most likely around 50 people, prepared to dedicate at least two hours or more, for this one-day blitz.

Please join us in vast numbers. This will be fun AND productive! Fresh air, exercise, a family activity and the chance to make a difference! Bring the kids. Bring a friend or two.

Our rallying point WILL NOW BE from 9:00 AM onwards at #411-589 Rideau St. This is the home of one of our volunteers and you will need to be buzzed in (dial 17). There is abundant free street parking just to the north, on Charlotte, Heney and Clarence East Streets.

Someone will be there all day from Fair Vote to direct new volunteers as they arrive, organize the polls to be done and hand out maps and advice. We will be going out from there in groups of two or three (including one person with a vehicle if possible) and coming back from time to time to rendezvous with the organizers.

We hope you can join us for this blitz, but if you are unavailable Saturday the 25th, we can also use your help before and after. Please leave a comment to that effect in the Google Form mentioned below. Every contribution counts and would be much appreciated.

Please register by filling out https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdL69luQZ7Y0-FVrKzvmUnkSOU2FQWTVQOPSJQVqFaARMVe5g/viewform for FVC volunteers in the context of the Ottawa-Vanier by-election.

It is important that you do so, so that we can send you more detailed information as required, and know how many volunteers we have and when they plan to be there (you can use the comments section to the question on volunteering to provide the details).

For other ways to contribute, you may wish to revisit the earlier message that we sent out about this by-election campaign: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RWl9zcsyk4eMZhie-ucEfF_XIFqYtn_7HI4xJpPNoj0/edit
