Let's dust off the outdoor skills with a fun outing to Mount Saint Helena! The Bubble and the Bear get all the glory, but Far Side is a fun crag with lots of options for all manner of roped climbing.

Routes range from 5.4 to 5.11 with a mix of trad, sport and TR.

We'll meet at 8:00am at the Robert Louis Stevenson trailhead parking lot (38.652734, -122.599728) for a gear check and hike up no later than 8:30am to the crag. My preference is to hike the shortcut past the Silver mine, but the fire road is another viable option but takes longer.
If you arrive late, here are the coordinates and g-maps pin to the crag: FAR SIDE 38°39'04.9"N 122°37'04.6"W.
Note that the parking lot is small and limited. There is SOME street parking, but make sure you pull as far off the road as possible. Reception is very spotty until you get above the trees.

Must bring:
1. Personal climbing gear [harness, shoes, belay device, helmet]
2. Food/water
3. Energy and enthusiasm to climb for the day!

Nice to have:
1. Rope
2. Anchor / slings
3. Draws / gear for leading if desired
4. Trad gear if that's your vibe for the day
