01/01/2022: We recommend everyone get travel insurance and take all precautions before and during the trip. As with all trips/traveling (pre/post Covid), we all assume personal accountability.

1. If Argentina places travel restrictions that do not allow us to travel on our designated dates, we will postpone the trip to the same time in 2023. There could be a potential price increase due to exchange rates and possible rate increases from vendors. If you can’t make the new dates, the $350 non-refundable fee still stands plus no refunds on costs, including but not limited to, expenses that are out of our hands like in-country flights, deposits on activities that are non-refundable, a business that closes down between this year and next, etc. We will always try to get you the most money back that we can. You would save the $500 cash that is required to be paid in-country which is approximately 16% of the total cost of the trip depending on when you signed up.
2. If a participant tests positive before leaving for the trip, no refund but they would not have to pay the final $500 cash due upon arrival which is approximately 16% of the total cost of the trip depending on when you signed up.
3. If a participant tests positive on the trip, no refund.
4. If, during the trip, a vendor, location, etc. shuts down/closes due to some new Covid policy, refunds or credits would only be issued if Vamos is issued those. Extra costs could arise if this happens as we would try to book something new in place of a canceled portion of the trip for example. This is also an example of traveling pre-Covid when unexpected challenges happen while traveling.

No refunds for unused services as all have been paid for by Vamos.

It’s “far and away the funniest musical of the season” (Daily News). It’s “the most uproarious new show in years” (The Hollywood Reporter). It’s “the best comedy on Broadway” (Forbes). No matter how you say it, TOOTSIE is unanimously funny! It’s a laugh-out-loud love letter to the theatre, based on the Oscar®-nominated film. Featuring a Tony®-winning book by Robert Horn and an outrageously clever score by 2018 Tony® winner David Yazbek (The Band’s Visit, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), this New York Times Critic’s Pick is a “hilarious, thoroughly modern TOOTSIE ” (People Magazine) that’s “even funnier than the movie!” (New York Post). “In these turbulent times, with the world out of balance, we need a place to let the good times roll,” says Rolling Stone, “TOOTSIE is it.”

Sawnee Mountain from Visitor Center

Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center

Please join me to explore all of the trails at Sawnee Mountain Preserve. We will hike the newer trails including, Ridgeline, Mountainside, Hilltop along with the older but popular Indian Seats trail for a total of 9-10 miles. Although the trails are not too difficult, you need to be in reasonably good shape to cover the distance at a moderate pace. We will take a few breaks along the way and will hike together as a group.

We will meet and start from the Visitor Center. Please arrive a little earlier before our starting time for quick introductions. Sawnee Mountain Preserve has great amenities including free parking and several clean restrooms. Please bring a minimum of 1-2 liters of water and snacks. Dogs are not allowed on these trails.

Sawnee Mountain Preserve is 963 acres. The mountain’s history spans from a sacred site for the local Native American Cherokee and Creek tribes to a mining site in the 1800s search for gold in Georgia. The Indian Seats, named for the granite, carved seat-like depressions on the mountain’s summit and is the most popular attraction. In addition to the Indian Seats there are 2 gold mine shafts, the Preserve also offers a tree canopy classroom, playground, two picnic pavilions, climbing area, amphitheater and visitors center. The Visitors Center features interactive exhibits on the natural and cultural histories of Sawnee Mountain and a resource library.
