Hike Around... Up... and Down Kennesaw Mtn

Join some of your fellow Crappers for a 6-mile hike around, up and over Kennesaw mountain.

And if we have time, maybe we can grab a bite somewhere afterwards.

Starting this hike early to avoid the heat.

We will meet at the visitor center by the lone cannon closest to the parking lot. PLEASE BRING PLENTY OF WATER!!!

This hike usually takes up 2 to 2.5 hours and is a nice mix of flat, uphill (quite a bit) and downhill. It takes us around the backside of Kennesaw and then up and over the top back to the visitor center.

Please CARPOOL, if possible, as parking is limited and we all want to help save our environment, right? You must get a parking pass at the visitor center. I believe it's $5 or you can buy annual National Parks pass.

Dogs are allowed but MUST BE on a leash.

I like to keep my groups small for hikes (hence the 15 limit) that way it's easier to keep the group together.

This event will only be canceled if it's raining.
