Horseshoe Bend National Military Park trail walk
Details
We are going to do a historical trail walk at Horseshoe Bend National Military Park in Davidson, Alabama. Horseshoe Bend was a War of 1812 clash of American Creek Indians, who supported the British, and U.S. forces under future president Andrew Jackson. There is a 2.8-mile walking nature trail in the park, and we will meet at the visitor center at 1:30pm to start the trail.
There is also a historic 3-mile driving trail and exhibits inside the visitor center to do afterward if people are interested.
Please bring plenty of water.
