Douro Sunset Walk: From Cais de Gaia to Praia Lavadores

Hey everyone,

Join us for a sunset walk from Cais de Gaia towards the coast and back. We’ll follow the Douro, pass through Afurada and make our way towards the beach, taking our time to enjoy the views and get to know each other along the way.
On the way back, we’ll stop at a local tasca in Afurada for a drink, then continue back to Cais de Gaia. And if people are up for it, we can grab another drink together once we’re back.

Meeting Point
Outside the Estaleiro Naval do Rio Douro, almost directly in front of M'Arrecreo Gaia.
It is about an 8 to 10-minute walk from the Dom Luís I Bridge along the riverfront. In case you come by car, there is also a parking lot in front of the Recheio store, a short walk from the meeting point.

Punctuality
We’ll start walking 5 minutes after the meeting time.
If you arrive late, you can catch up with the group along the marginal.

Spots
We keep the group relatively small so there’s space to talk and get to know each other.
Please keep your RSVP updated if your plans change, so someone else can take your spot.

Bring
Just comfortable shoes and water.
