Hiking at San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park
Details
The trails that I like to do at San Felasco are the Yellow Trail (about 6 miles), the Yellow to Orange cutoff (about 5.5 miles), Blue (about 5 miles) and, generally when I'm shorter on time, I create my own that's about 4 miles. We can select the trail that morning, majority rules:). We will meet at the trailhead kiosk on the north side of Millhopper Rd. I will have my dog Ruby with me and, fair warning, I let her off leash. She is very dog friendly so please feel free to bring yours if you have one. There is a fee to hike there since it is a state park. You can either buy a day pass via your phone when you arrive (there are signs with a QR code) or you can buy a state park pass in advance (I hike a lot so I always keep my annual Florida state park pass going). https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/san-felasco-hammock-preserve-state-park If anyone is interested, we can grab coffee or brunch/lunch afterwards.
