Details
Tentative Agenda
1. Introduction of the Leadership Team
2. Brief characterization of Humanism
3. Attendee self-introductions--time allotment based on number, say 15 mins total.
4. We will propose that the group be action oriented, so we'll offer some ideas about what we can do to walk the talk of Humanism as a group
--we won't be a dinner club, though we hope to have some meals together
--we won't be a debate club, though we hope to have some engaging discussions on all aspects of humanism and secularism
--we won't be a lecture series, though from time to time we hope to have speakers that have important things to say of interest to activist humanists
--we hope to promote free thinking and freedom from religion in this community by tabling at various events and otherwise being visible in the community
--we hope to be activists that promote humanistic values and respond to events impinging on our humanistic values
5. Time permitting, open the floor for other ideas about the group
