1. RECENT ACTIONS/ACHIEVEMENTS
A. Accepted to table at Gainesville's annual Pride Festival in Bo Diddley Plaza, Saturday October 3, 12pm-8pm, Also received packet of materials from the AHA to distribute.
B. 3 members signed up for the 10-Week AHA Leadership Training, and attended the first session on Sep 3rd. We’ll have a short report about what we heard and learned.
C. Became member organization of the Gainesville No Kings IV Coalition. The coalition will use our Venmo & Paypal accounts for sales of T-shirts and tote-bags and receipt of donations. We’ll be distributing this merch---for a donation--- at our Pride Festival booth. On October 3rd. October 17th has been set as the date for the Vote Early No Kings IV action at Cora Roberson park. March at 9:30 from Depot Park, program with tabling at CRP from 10 am to 12pm.
D. Started weekly Gainesville Humanists newsletter. Suggestions for content welcome.
2. OUTREACH
A. Continue to explore getting Florida to create a Free Thinker Specialty License plate like South Carolina's "In Reason We Trust.”
B. Sign up for 2-hrshifts to staff Pride Festival table on Oct 3rd , and for 2-hr shifts at the No Kings IV tabling on Oct 17th.
C. Sign up to become a member organization of Keep Alachua County Beautiful’s Adopt-A-Road program. 2 candidate road stretches have been offered to us. Let’s consider if either is OK, or if we might want to get other candidates. Details of program to be provided.

3. ACTIVISM
A. Sign the petition: https://trumpepsteinbookmobile.com/
B. Attend local weekly protests, e.g., the Oaks Mall Saturday morning protest
C. Set up an online lecture/discussion series, with occasional in-person events, on topics of interest to humanists.
D. Spend time this meeting exploring other action ideas. What do you think we should be doing? We should try for at least one GH-sponsored action a month.

4. BONDING
Let's spend the majority of this meeting getting to know each other better and planning further community-building events.
