Road Trip! | Amicalola Falls & Small Town Exploration!

Let's go see the beautiful falls at Amicalola State Park and then explore a couple of small towns while we're out!

Here is a preliminary agenda draft. Any of the locations are optional, meaning if you just want to go to Amicalola Falls and then call it a day, feel free! Or let's say, you've been there done that with the Falls, but you want to explore one of the small towns, or both, with the group, you can just plan to meet us there at the time the final itinerary states.

We will have lunch for sure, and possibly dinner once we return to Dawsonville. We'll play it by ear!

Meet in Dawsonville: 8:45AM (Carpool is an option!)
Depart Dawsonville: 9:00AM

Travel from Dawsonville to Amicalola: 30 Minutes

Arrive in Amicalola Falls State Park: 9:30AM
Explore: 9:45PM to 11:15AM (1 ½ Hours)
Depart Amicalola Falls State Park: 11:30AM

Travel from Amicalola to Talking Rock: 30 Minutes

Arrive in Talking Rock: 12:00PM
Lunch: 12:15PM to 1:30PM (1 ¼ Hours)
Explore: 1:30PM to 2:30PM (1 Hour)
Depart Talking Rock: 2:45PM

Travel from Talking Rock to Ball Ground: 30 Minutes

Arrive in Ball Ground: 3:15PM
Explore: 3:30PM to 4:30PM (1 Hour)
Depart Ball Ground: 4:45PM

Travel from Ball Ground to Dawsonville: 30 Minutes

Arrive in Dawsonville: 5:15PM
