Learning by Building: Real-World Skills Inside a Virtual World

This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly intro session for the Inside a Virtual World meetup.

Instead of lectures or theory, this group explores how real-world skills (business, marketing, branding, community building, creativity) can be practiced safely inside virtual environments like Second Life.

During this session we’ll:

  • explain what “business simulations” actually mean
  • show simple examples (food, local businesses, brands, creative spaces)
  • talk about how members can experiment at their own pace
  • outline how the group will work going forward

You do not need:

  • a business
  • marketing experience
  • a Second Life account
  • to speak or participate live

You’re welcome to:

  • or just explore the idea

This meetup is about learning by doing, not being perfect.
