The Native American Cultural Festival (Powwow) featuring Native American dance, music, art, culture, and traditions. Hosted by a nonprofit - Redhawk Indian Arts Council (Redhawk Indigenous Arts Council) .
At the event, there'll be:
40+ artists’ booths sharing Native American jewelry, art, crafts,& more.
Native American foods will be available
Lots of dance and story telling.
Over 1,000 Native American artists, performers, and educators from across the Americas (largest such gathering in NJ).
Special emphasis placed on the Native American culture of NJ & NY.
Artists will share traditions, past and present, of this region’s first peoples.
We’ll start promptly so come a little early so we can plot out our visit.
We can explore some of the vendors and educational tables/tents. The Grand Entry of Dancers will start around 4PM starting the Traditional Dances. We can grab a bite after we leave the performances and continue walking around the festival until we leave.
COST: $15adults; $10 for seniors - Free parking
Seating is limited bring a folding chair - benches are for the dancers only.
