Catch some rays, join us at the Beach in Ocean Grove!!

Let's spend a morning at the beach to enjoy the sun, sand and waves. Join Donna B at the shore to spend a few hours, talking, swimming and enjoying the beach. Ocean Grove is located in Monmouth County, this is a wonderful place to just enjoy the sand, sun, and waves (it's about a 40-45 minute drive for most of us).

In order to access the beach you need to buy your beach tag beforehand (it's $14.19 here's the link: https://ogbeachbadges.com (copy & paste into a new window) or at the Beach Office on the boardwalk.

Find your parking (parking on the street is free!!) and then go to the Beach Office/bathhouse changing rooms (corner of Embury and Ocean Ave- please arrive by 10 am). Then you can meet the group on the left side of the fishing dock behind the Beach Office - you can find Donna as she will have a bright pink umbrella.

Then as a group we'll find a place on the beach so we can sit together.

Later, if the group would like to grab a bite, ice cream or cool drink or just walk around to see the charming downtown we can walk two short blocks from the boardwalk — convenient for a quick bite and some window shopping. If you’d rather just soak up the sun and enjoy the beach you can do that instead.

Then we'll wrap things up around 2 pm and head home before the commuter traffic starts.

Don’t forget your folding chair/towel sunglasses, sunscreen, water and hat!
