Note: if you have mobility issues: there will be a LOT OF WALKING and very little seating in the Museum, please consider before RSVPing.
10 AM WALK Meet OUTSIDE the Museum (accessible by foot only). Photos below show the area around the correct entrance - look for Gal Pal members seated outside at the tables and chairs.
10:15 AM Begin Campus Walk (optional) at a casual pace (Fast walkers may move ahead on their own). Check this page on the morning of the event if there’s bad weather to confirm the walk is still happening. If the walk gets canceled meet at the museum for lunch. *Fast walkers and latecomers: -please also join us at the Museum at 11:30 AM for lunch if you’d like to join us. Please monitor this page and Meetup messages for updates.
11:30 AM Lunch with us or dine on your own. We’ll keep it casual - no reservations. We’ll split into smaller groups to make seating easier. As always, please bring small bills to pay your share of the bill.
1:30 PM we'll meet at Museum for a docent-led tour or tour on your own- please let us know if you’re going to tour on your own. Admission to museum is FREE but there is a charge for the tour - the number of attendees will affect the rate, We'll collect $12 to cover the fee- this is an estimate of the cost. We have a confirmed 2 PM TOUR. There are no refunds exception: in the case of a payment overage then we will return the prorated overage to you. After tour, you can decide to stay or leave.
Tour- everyone will be placed on the waitlist until the $12 is paid. An email will be sent to you with payment instructions after you reserve. Tour spots are allotted by in order of payment are received not rsvp. If you rather go walk around on your own, please let us know.
GOOD TO KNOW Museum opens: 12:00 PM start here if you want then meet in the lobby at 1:30 if you're joining the tour. Parking: the University website says the Theatre Drive Garage is the closest campus garage, 0.5 miles (or approximately a ten-minute walk) to the Museum. The address is 162 Alexander St, Princeton, NJ. It’s open for visitors and free on weekends. In the event it’s full when you arrive I’ll post a map of the campus to provide alternatives.
