Galerie Nachtigall presents "Übergangsphänomene - Die Perfektion der besten Art und Weise" ("Transitional Phenomena - The Perfection of the Best Possible Way,") an exhibition of new paintings by Co.Co. Segeltuch. His conceptually driven abstract painting explores questions of selfhood, change and aliveness. The visible distinction between colours is the point of departure: minute shifts and strong contrasts alike become an open visual field. Each work is part of an ongoing, numbered process in which individual colour decisions accumulate into a larger connected whole. Co.Co. Segeltuch lives and works in Berlin-Weissensee.
