What is Speed friending? How does it work?
Kind of like speed dating, but instead of looking for a romantic connection, the goal is to quickly meet new people and potentially make new friends.Here's a basic breakdown of how it typically works:
First Round Begins:
Everyone pairs up and chats for the set amount of time. Suggested topics or icebreaker questions will be provided to help get conversations going.Rotation:
After the time is up, one side of the room moves (e.g., one side shifts down a seat) so that everyone meets a new person.Repeat:
This process continues for a set number of rounds, usually enough for everyone to meet most or all attendees.Wrap-Up and Mingling:
After the structured rounds, there's often open mingling, or a casual hangout time, so people can reconnect with anyone they clicked with.Attire: Wear your favorite Spring outfit.
