📍 NEW VENUE: We now meet at Cadell, 31 Woodquay, Galway (H91 P5K8), just across the road from our old home at McSwiggans.
Come join us for a few games of Go, the elegant strategy game played for over 4,000 years.
We meet every Tuesday from 5:30 pm for friendly matches, relaxed teaching games, and good chats over a pint or a coffee. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced dan players. It's free.
Never played before? Perfect. We'll teach you the basics and have you playing within ten minutes. Boards and stones are provided, and there is always someone happy to guide new players.
No booking and no strict start time. Drop in any time from 5:30 pm and games form naturally as people arrive. Many regulars don't RSVP here, so expect more people than the number above suggests.
How to find us: come in and look for the Go boards. Ask anyone at a board and they'll get you a game.
