Galway IT / is a new community welcoming anyone interested or working in software / hardware / IT or a related field and looking to socialize, network and learn.
We meet once a month in the PorterShed in Galway. Usually with some short talks on interesting topics followed by plenty of time to network and socialize with your fellow tech enthusiasts.

PorterShed, 15 Market Street, Galway, G, IE## Join the Galway IT x Home Assistant Meetup!
Come hang out with fellow Home Assistant enthusiasts in person. It’s a great chance to share tips, show off your smart home setups, and learn new tricks in a relaxed, friendly environment. Whether you're a newbie or a pro, everyone’s welcome. Grab a drink, chat about automations, and connect with your local smart home community.
There's no talks this time, but feel free to bring along anything that you'd like to show off. We'll have the big screens available for anyone who really wants to show off their dashboards and/or automations!

We're still fine tuning what goodies we'll have on the evening, but expect the possibility of trying our smart kombucha and picking up some awesome stickers from Home Assistant and the Free Software Foundation.
